Job Requirements

  • Fresh graduate / 1 year laboratory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree related to chemistry, biochemistry or any science related course.
  • Laboratory or analytical knowledge and skills.


Key Responsiblities

 

  1. Responsible for the inspection, sampling, testing and timely release of all materials/finish products.
  2. Responsible for ensuring the calibration status of all the analytical equipment and apparatus.
  3. Managing the availability of the primary standard & working standard.
  4. To supervise and ensure smooth running of Chemical Testing Laboratory.
  5. To ensure and provide subordinates with adequate knowledge and guidance for task performance
  6. Responsible to prepare validation Master plan and ensure its execution.
  7. Responsible to prepare Calibration & preventive maintenance Master plan and ensure its execution.
  8. To develop and update test method and specifications for raw material, intermediate products and finished products if required.
  9. To be responsible for the management of instrument calibration, preventive maintenance and records.
  10. Maintain all analytical equipment according to the schedule and Standard Operating Procedures.
  11. Responsible in ensuring that all documents containing chemical test methods, operating and calibration procedure for the equipments used are periodically revised and reflecting the current practice.
  12. To ensure inter and intra department co-ordination.
  13. To ensure performance efficiency of the subordinates and to ensure subordinates are trained in performing the task.
  14. To initiate laboratory investigation upon any detection of out of specification in chemical test result for intermediate, finished & stability products.
  15. To initiate laboratory incidents as per sop.
  16. To maintain stocks of solvents, chemicals and consumables within the laboratory.
  17. To ensure that laboratory personnel obey safety regulations when working in the laboratory.
  18. To ensure that the work place should be clean and tidy.
  19. Ensure that the subordinates keep documentations correctly filled and updated and to ensure practice of GLP, GDP is observed at all time.
  20. Responsible for training the subordinates on all aspects of pertaining to operation of the Analytical equipment and task performance.
  21. Responsible to participate in any activities pertaining to training, safety, first-aid and fire-fighting organized by the company for the benefit of personnel and company.
  22. Ensure compliance to GMP, GLP, GSP, GDP and respective ISO guidelines
