Both locally and globally, Kotra Pharma is associated with various academic, social and welfare programmes dedicated to increasing health and wellness standards by making available health supplements, medication and funding.

In order to encourage continuous development of pharmaceutical research and education, Kotra Pharma actively supports local students through a series of academic grants and awards. Since 2007, Kotra Pharma has recognized and rewarded excellence to students through its Kotra Pharma Book Prize (University of Malaya), Kotra Pharma Awards for Pharmaceutical Technology and Pharmaceutical Chemical (International Medical University) and Hadiah Kotra Pharma (University Putra Malaysia).
